1) I do not think gays deserve any special rights,

2) I think that the individual mothers who choose to work instead raise their kids are making a horrible mistake which effects not only them and their kids, but the rest of society as well.

I think married men with children should not divorce their wives and marry younger/other women, (and make more babies) forcing the ex to work or go on welfare, but they still do.

Equal rights is for everyone. Women too. If you want a parent to stay home and raise kids, then you BEST be claiming that a PARENT needs to stay home with the kids.

If you can't make that requirement, then it's and established FACT that you are discriminating against women, and hence, a BIGOT.

Even though your heart may be in the right place by championing the quest to 'special rights of homosexuals' to that of the rights inheirently entitled to blacks and women equal to rights granted to all others under our Constitution--The simple fact is that somene's gender or ethnicity is predetermined and developed before they're out of their mothers womb--science can prove that---There is no credible scientific study that definitely proves homosexuality is practiced as a result of nature (inheirent) vs. nurture (influenced by environment and life experiences).

To be able to enjoy the SAME Constitutionally guaranteed marital rights as hetero couples do. Dan explained it very clearly in an earlier post. You are either incapable of understanding... or simply refuse to... in order to keep the 'debate' going. I'm pretty sure it's the latter... and I'm sure that you derive as much enjoyment out of stirring the political pot here as you used to get butting heads with Keta and friends over fisheries issues on the Oregon boards.

There is no credible study that definitely proves that homosexuality is not a fact of birth either, and too many say they "felt" their sexuality as very young children.
