I just called their fly shop in Montana to see if they had a picture of their new guideweights on the internet.

To make a long story short I asked them if they changed the design of the gravel guards as that was the only thing that I wasnt 100% happy with on my lightweights that I have had for 2 years fished near 400 days.

Anyways they informed me that the design hadnt changed but they used some velcro that didnt work well during the time I baught my waders but has since been upgraded. Anyways they offered to replace my lightweights for free or upgrade to the new Guideweights.

I didnt even ask they just offered so I upgraded to the guideweights. They are sending the new ones to me first and after I get them I send my old ones back so I wont miss any fishing.

I call that great customer service.

I was on the fence trying to decide between the Simms and the Dan Baileys. Thanks for the post you just convinced me the Baileys are the way to go.

Not to often you will find a company with customer service like that.

I think they offer like four differant pairs, which are the good ones?

I have the higher priced light weights now and ive had them for two years without a real problem. No leaks and i beat the crap out of them. They were $200.00. They are sending me the Yellowstone guideweights Which are new They are $300.00 meaning I will have to pay $100.00.

RG, I couldn't agree more, DB's are the way to go, in my opinion and experience, better customer service and at 2/3 of the price of Simms Guide Model.
