Just a tip for those here who might be a little embarrassed with their ability to spell. Download a very small program called iespell from iespell.com and run a spell check on your board posts.....works gr8 on chat lines and anything else I have used it on....I personally think it is great.

I ran it on this post, because I wasn't sure about the word embarrassed.

Oh my god I couldnt agree with you more. As a person that is a terrible speller and very bad with grammar..... I give three thumbs up for a spell checker!! Hey.. where did that third thumb come from.

I agree that everyone should have some sort of spell checker or grammar checker to scrub their post prior to posting. There's a lot of different ways to do it; luckily I spell pretty decently so I simply use dictionary.com when I need verification on something.

The reason I feel it's so important is because it lends great credibility to your post. There are people here that write some very intelligent information but it loses most of its credibility because of the multiple spelling and grammatical errors. I'm not trying to be a snob; I really think it makes a world of difference.

Spelling is what it is...if I can understand it I almost always won't comment u(edit:n)less its a particularly funny misspelling, I sure hate seeing them in my posts though that's probably why I'm such a chronic self-editor.

How could I '...' with a punctuation checker?

I actually have a link on my quick bar of my browser to dictionary.com I have terrible punctuation as well.
