Just recieved my copy of H/F NEWS. Anyone else notice the tip(?) from John Kiezer about using something called a SALMON SCENTER?

According to John, just attach this scent holder to your downrigger and "dramatically" increase your catch. Don't know if he has any personal interest in this product, but I rarely see him make a statement like this.

Anyone else using one or seen them available on the shelf? Besides a black box, this my be just the ticket. You think?

I have heard little about it... I haven't seen it or read any info.. Got pics?

Saw it at the show during his seminar. Yes he does have an interest in it, but if it works, more power to them. Its based on the time proven technique of chuming, only with this product your doing it while trolling. No different than adding scent to your lure only your putting out a whole lot of scent on and around your lures. The gal working the booth said they hope to have info on the salmon U website soon.

The big diffeerence between this and a scent like smelly jelly is that the scent comes from the pellets that they feed them when they are growing them at the hatcheries.

I'm guessing by the response that this product is brand new to the market and nobody else has tried it yet. It'will be interesting to see how it develops. Evidently it is at THE SHOW, but still haven't heard the price.

They sold this item at the Salmon University booth at the Sports show in Puyalluo. It is a Hard Plastice tube about the size of a tube of toothpaste. It has many small holes all long it sides. The scent is pellets that you pour into the tube. The tube is attached to your downrigger line or ball and it spins behind the line and allow this sent to flow back where your lure is. The pellets are supppose to last from 2-4 hours. The pellets are made out of fish food that they feed salmon fry and some anchovy and herring in it. They were seiing a medium size bag of food and the tube for $20.00. John Keizer says it real works
