Finally got one decent enough to show off on this board. This fella put up one great battle. He weighed just a little over 21 lbs. Caught in a small river, which make it tougher to land, with #4 hook, 10# Izorline for mainline, and 8# ultra green leader. The only thing that could have made it more fun, would be, if I was on the cataraft when I caught it. laugh

NEN,
It was a native, and was released unharmed. Will be searching for it's young, in a few years.

Osprey,
Not sure of the brand of tube, but I bought them from Sos Ouch, at XStream in Seattle. He makes a back pac cataraft, and takes custom orders for catarafts as well. He also makes the nicest steelhead fishing vest I have ever seen. Spendy, but worth the bucks.

Sturgio,
What size cataraft did you get. Mine is a 10 footer with 18" tubes, and handles most anything the Cowlitz can put out. Been in some pretty nasty water with it, and just love it.
