I was in the process of replacing the hooks on my plugs and was wondering what type of hooks that you use, on plugs such as wiggle warts or tadpollys.. What brand , size and style? Thanks

Following Skydriftin's post...don't forget to use an extra heavy duty split ring, too, and make sure the hook rides up, not down or sideways.
Fish on...
Todd.

I like to add a good barrel swivel as well to help when the fish start to roll.

Y'all say w/the hook "UP". Am I buildin mah spoons wrong? I always put the hooks on (spoons) so the point is pointing down. Doesn't seem to increase snags but does seem to increase hook-ups. Anyone else build their own spoons? Which way do you point the hook point, up or down?
Thanx an tight lines
Sincerely, Roger

Hook points should be pointing towards the cocave part of the spoon...according to the BH, I always had the hooks on the plugs pointing down...
