Trying to compare what he is doing to what Peta has done and the way that they started is a little short sighted. We can be sportsmen and still care about the resource. Look at what Ducks Unlimited has done. Would you compare them to Peta? Do you think Peta even likes them?

I've said some pretty harsh things on this board, and it's more than time that I apologize for being a jerk. I just get really upset at times when it comes to fiddling around with a sport that has meant so much to me for 50 years. But from now on (geez...I hope) I'm gonna try to see something humorous in our semi-common dilemmas.

First I would like to say catch and release is great. I do sometimes and sometimes I dont. I think its unfair to ostrasize people who dont. I think its ok to be sportfishermen and eat the resource too, that doesnt mean we dont care! after all if the fish are gone what will we eat?
