Sounds like things are picking up down there. I should make it out before that. If so I'll post.

Fished last two days near longview. Yesterday was slow, today was better. In five days it will be fine. Some risk due to the Willamette puking mud, but the weather should let it clear by then. I hope so, I'm fishing the 28th, 29th, and the 30th.

Fished March 22nd on the Columbia, It was my bachelor party. We hired 3 boats, Reds guide service, Sturgeon Frank and Kyle ? Very nasty morning, Franks boat hooked 4 springs and landed 2 both natives in the 25# range. Kyles boat hooked 2 springs and landed 1 native around 28# plus two keeper sturgeon in the 50" range. I fished with Reds and wanted an oversize sturgeon. We landed two, the first was a 9 footer and the second was just shy of 10 feet. The first time ive ever landed 600 plus pounds of fish in 2 hook ups. The spring bite seemed a little slow, for the amount of angler pressure. The sea lions had a hay day. We were around Bonneville.

Fished out of Willow grove sun and mon.
Sun was a pretty good day according to the fish cops.Said he checked a lot of fish 9n the area.
Sunday Sue landed a 20# springer.I lost 2 and had 2 more takedowns.Mon I landed a 24 # keeper and sue had 1 other hit.
Sun we saw about 10 fish kept.Mon we saw 2 kept 1 released.
Both days the best bite was as the tide was almost slack at high tide.Just barely enough to make the K-15 kwikies work.
We'll probably be back sat.,sun.and mon.
