Geez, looks like all you anti's should go over to Iraq and remind the Iraqi's that they don't want our military there and how America/Britain are terrible people. We shouldn't be there and all America want's is thier oil!! ( O peration I raqi L iberation) Might want to remind them that Saddam isn't really that bad and that if they REALLY wanted him gone they would have got rid of him themselves. But, some lefty is going to say that this is just another 'wag the dog' and that those are just a few Iraqi's and they don't really understand what they want.

The ultimate test of the success of this war will come through the course of time. It remains to be seen how these events will play out in the Arab world and how ultimately, positively or negatively, this affects our relationships in that community and our national security.

As happy as they as they were to have the statue come down they appeared equally displeased with the boneheads that tried to raise the American in downtown Baghdad. This is an example of how much the average Anerican really understands about the deep seated hatred Arabs, even ones that have their freedom, hold against The United States.

I like what we (the US) has done. I'm not willing to argue about it, but I can say that I'm proud to be from a country who has the power and willingness to go clear across the world to at least make an attempt to make the world a better place. I don't know what spurs such actions at times (I leave that to the experts), but I believe that when my country calls, I go. I never actually served in Vietnam, but I was willing (enlisted in December 1965). All I mean is that I showed up.....I didn't whine or run away.....and for that, I can respect myself.

It brought tears to my eyes to see the Iraqis waving, kissing, and wrapping themselves up in Old Glory.....and it makes me proud.

I find it disheartening to hear such adamant-cy from those opposed to the war when there are so many millions of people who need, but don't dare hope, for our help.

If anyone's idea of risk is using a barbed hook in barbless waters......you've missed the whole point. I have no problem looking at myself in the mirror, or you in the eyes.

And I'll bet neither does Bush.

Our fish are just starting to show up. Caught 6 last weekend in Brutal weather conditions. 27 degrees and a 30 mph Northeaster off Lake Michigan. Rod guides were iced up about every 5 minutes. Further North, my buddies fished in 5 degree weather with gust up to 40 mph. The river was running pure slush all day long. Should be alot more around this weekend. If I ever get intelligent enough to learn how to put photos' in a post, I would be happy to show you some of our brats. As soon as the weather turns, the rivers should be full, and 40+ fish per day could easily be done.
