Whats your favorite jig and what size/color is most productive? I catch ALOT of steelies using 1/8 oz Pink jigs from the Silent Approach ( Ambush ) series. I was in Seattle last Saturday at Outdoor Emporium and saw a new jigs called Aerojig. I bought a few and will try them within a few weeks. Now I have 4 different types of jigs and see more new ones come out every year. What works for you?

I've done well with John's Jigs and Bunny Bugs Jigs. I have recently started tying my own jigs. My 22 pounder came on my own jig.

Try some jigs from Angles Advantage, email is the following aatacklemfg@aol.com They make some very fine looking jigs. The thing we like about and also "FirstCastjigs.com" is that they use Owner hooks. The jigs might cost a little more but nothing worse than to "bend" one with a small snag, or worse yet......on that steelhead....ugh hate that thought.

1/8 oz in all those color that are always gone when you go to the store to buy.

1/16 oz in the same colors as above.....

Kidding aside........Pink, purple, red/yellow, cerise........I really like jigs that have beads seems to work for me....
