Seems like the run in Area 10 is quite late this year. The first two weeks of July are generally very good, but my earlier trips in have produce mostly blackmouth, and the last two trips this week (fished Yeomalt Point, Skiff Point, and Jeff Head) have been a total skunk, not even a shaker, and almost no one fishing. Anyone else have better luck this year?

BTW,what is up with the commercial crab fishery....we finally got open for recreational crabbing in Area 10 and now there are thousands of commercial pots from Eagle Harbor to Jeff Head....Won't be may keepers left when they are done!

Chip,
Yeah, it is slow. I have only got one summer king in there this year. I didn't see any of the resident coho that are ussually around. Has anyone else seen those coho?
Take care
