It's nice out there, and the fishing was good. Fished with my kids today. Got there and started about 10:00am, lots of boats heading in with smiles on their faces already. Banged two silvers right off, lost them both cuz the kids were reeling them in (or not). Hooked about a dozen humpies, got three into the boat. Quit after a couple of hours, went and looked at seals and stuff. Great day for the kid.

To the guy who felt the need to curse at us - if someone starts to turn 1/4 mile in front of you, if you maintain course and speed, or heaven forfend, steer slightly behind the other boat, rather than veering towards us, there will be no need to worry, get upset, or demonstrate to your children and mine what a crude oaf you are.

I hear 'ya Silver Hinton....Some guys act like they never have to turn. Glad to hear your kids got a chance to real some in. I purposely made sure my kids got the're shot too when I was out there last week. I think I took my vacation about a week to early, based on the #'s I'm hearing being caught.

Didn't need him to turn. Just needed him to drive in the straight line he was headed on when I started my turn, and to do anything other than steer towards me as he approached.

As it was, we were never closer than 40-50 yds, and he still felt the need to show his kids and mind what a foul mouthed boor looks like. Get a Prozac, bud.

Something about this time of year that really brings out the Fools. Took one of the boys and a neighbor out last sunday for a couple of hours and it turned into a drag fest, my boat can go fast, see. Bunch of retards.Saw one loser drop his pretty new Trophy on the launch at Everett, lucky he had his motor up.I truely understand what you are saying, you see them, they see you and they think that this is Thier Water. AMEN!!!!!!!! Theres only one thing I don't like about fishing and thats fishermen. Some peeps just tend to get a tad too anal. I don't understand it. Fishing must be there life. Prolly the only pole of an size they ever get to hold on to!!!! That would be my guess. Many silvers being caught at the Shipwreck/Hollow area?

We got a 7,9, and a 12 in there over the last week. You just have to weed through a buttload of pinks to find them. Needless to say
the bite is one hot mutha!!!

We nailed the pinks out of shipwreck. Finally gave up and left around 1:00 with 15 on board. One short of our boat limit. My daughter had a blast reeling them in and only lost a couple. Wish it was like that everytime I take the kids out!

was there today got fish and sun, u can find theses area on a chart just south of mukilteo.... just look for boats!

Wooly, this is the area from roughly the ferry dock in Mukilteo, south about five miles, along the east shore of the sound. Put in at Edmonds and run north along the shore, or at Mukilteo or Everett, and run south (about 5-6 miles from Everett, I'd say). You'll see lots of boats. Fish where they do, until you get the hang of it.

I fished HH with Jason on Sunday. We got the boat in the water about 0800. Started trolling south right from the launch at Mukilteo. We had a few hits but no fish in the boat, seemed slow at first.

We heard a distress call, to the Coast Gaurd, on my handheld VHF from the Tammy Too, a 24' Bayliner. The Tammy Too was a drift and slowly floating in to shore just south of the Mukilteo launch in 9' of water. They had no engine power. Jason and I started looking around the water and noticed a boat just north of us really close to shore matching the boats description. There was one other boat close to the Tammy Too but I don't think they had a VHF on board. We decided to go and check and see if we could lend a hand to the Tammy Too. We ended up towing the Tammy Too back to the Mukilteo launch (they wanted to go back to Everett). Towing the Tammy Too took us about a half an hour to get them back to the launch. They were very grateful!

Back to fishing. We started trolling south again close to the shoreline. We initially were trollling with Hot Spots, herring dodgers, and Coho Killers. After a while we tied on pink hoohies and found a school of humpies porpoising on the surface. We trolled around the surfacing humpies and were getting hit after hit, LDR'd a few fish, and boated four fish. Then the bite died off like someone had flipped a switch. We did not get another fish till we started trolling back to the launch to put the boat on the trailer. Five fish total for us for the day.
