Just curious if anybody has been after the Kings in Hood Canal. We will be there all weekend looking for them. beer

I got into a bunch of Kings last Sat at Hoodsport but purely by accident. I went there to fly fish for pinks but the Kings were coming in waves. Hooked +30 fish but my gear was a little on the light side. The fish started coming in after high tide and kept cruising the shore for about 3 hours. Hooked many that were 40+ lbs. Wish I could get back up there.

Thanks for the report Steelymann, I will have the jet boat with me this weekend. So I plan to target the Kings. My step daughter has never got anything except Sockeye in Lake Washington. To tie her into a nice King would make the weekend. Hope we can get into them as well as you did.
