I was thinking about heading out to Kingston/ Jeff head on Saturday. I was wondering if anyone had a report?

I fished kingston hard wednesday...lots of fish marked in the 20 to 30ft depth....only one 10 lb king gettin him realing in a flasher and plug cut herring....i think the fish we were marking were strangely enough kings up towards the top...we were fast trolling for silvers and got around 6 or so real lite hits, which is a typical king hit....rumor has it there are big coho being caught down deep from 100 to 150 ft...dont know where though....seen a few boats come in and that was the consistant report....good luck!!!!!

Been catching quite a few smaller silvers in 20 to 30 feet of water. Have also released a lot of Kings caught at the same depth. My dad got one around 25 lbs on Saturday.

Fished Saturday. Too much weed to troll. The water was red/brown. East side (Oil Docks to Meadow Point was much better. Saw some silvers caught by moochers off President's Point. Got silvers and released chinook on the other side.

Kingston has been producing well. Although I usually head for Jeff this time of year, I haven't had to leave AppleTree to find alot of fish yet. For the last couple of weeks it seems the fish we're getting are very shallow 20-30' in the deeper water (100-150'). Even the big kings have been up on top hitting typical silver stuff on a fast troll during the day; weird. At Kingston, herring appears to be more effective than anything else right now, trolling or drifting it doesn't seem to matter. The really good news is that the silvers we've caught are good size and it's still pretty early. Oh ya, we haven't caught a pink at Kingston yet this year. I suppose they're bee lining across Possession. All in all it looks like it's shaping up to be a very good year so far.
