I live too far away for a 1 day trip. Are there are places one could tie up and sleep on the boat? How about RV camping in the parking lot?

Tarter, There is a marina right next to the Everett ramp. I'm sure they must have overnight slips for rent. Not sure what the name is, but I would think a net search would work.

If you put in at Kayak Point, not too far a run from Everett, you can camp at the Park, too. I don't think there are any waterfront sites, but there are some mooring buoys just north of the launch.

BTW, the best info on the web on launches in Washington is at http://www.iac.wa.gov/maps/default.asp.

Yes, the Everett Marina has quite a bit availble space that you can overnight at. You can also stay directly across from the Everett boat launch at Jetty Island. I think that you can actually tie up right at the boat launch also. The docks that sort of protect the launch are availble for rent. Call the Everett Marina (800) 729-7678 and they will be able to give you the exact 411.

I just saw this:

Summer Rates (May 1 - October 31) $ .55/foot/night (12.84% leasehold tax applicable to visits extending over
twenty-nine consecutive days)

Everett Marina

We used to launch my buddies boat the day before and tie up to the docks that surround the launch area overnite when we used to fish the derbies. Had friends who used to do that on a regular basis on the weekends (Warfrats!) laugh laugh . Still see people sleeping overnite on their boats. Only problem was that the gates were locked at 10pm and you had to call the port security if you needed to get in after hours. I dont think it's changed any but you might try calling the port of everett as they manage the launch. smile

There is guest morage at the everette marina. Could always tie up there. Or go up to kayak point and camp.
