Thanks surecatch. I was wondering how much debris is floating in the water and if they've blown out yet. I thought that at least somebody had driven by if they weren't fishing.

I had noticed the flow was going up quite a bit via the same site.

12:00 on 9/12/03 I called 2 tackle stores, and they hadn't HEARD that it had blown out yet, but by tonight I bet they will know what exactly it's condition is...still might be in good shape. Sauk went up 100% in flows in last 48 hours. Currently they said Skagit had, relatively speaking, plenty of visibility compared to the last 3 weeks.....great visibility for fishing...but we'll see by tonight.

I checked out the Snohomish at Snohomish, at 6:00 P.M. tonight. It has some more color than it did two days ago, but is very fishable. I did not see many fish rolling.

The Sky looked clean and didnt seem all that much higher than a few days ago. The Snoqualamie definately had a lot of color.

I looks to me like the amount of rain in diffrent river systems last week varied greaty. I noticed that the Snoqualamie at Snoqualamie went from about 300 CFS on the 10 to 2700 cfs on the 12th. Thats a pretty dang big increase in two days. The maximum flow ever recorded on the 12 th was 3460 cfs and only 20 % of the time has the river ever exceeded 1060 cfs on that date.

Other systems had very little rain.

As far as "blown", it would be rare to see the Sky, for instance, blown out and muddy at 2500cfm, but after all this time below even 500cfm it'll be interesting to see how much crud had piled up in that in between zone. I'll be on the Sky tomorrow and I'll let you know what I see.

I suspect it'll be nice, as the level has already dropped to half what it was. Should have a fresh flow of fish, hopefully a silver or two in the mix although I'm not counting on that.

Skagit was fine yesterday around Sedro. Wasn't really clear but no problem getting lots and lots and lots and lots of Humpies

Sorry to report none were silvers. I saw 4 Salt launching as I was taking out. He was in search of silver. Perhaps he will give us a report when he gets in

Unfortunately no silvers were hooked by us Saturday. We saw some, but stayed pretty busy with the pinks. My money says that after the forecast rain this week, there should definitely be fishable numbers of silvers in the river.
