I have been in Philly since August for dental school, but will be returning to Puyallup in mid-December for break. Needless to say, I have not had the opportunity to do any fishing, and I missed the great fall fishing at home.

I plan to do as much duck hunting and fishing as possible while in Washington. I am needing some advice for some good winter salmon fishing while home. I am pretty new to salmon fishing, having mostly fished for Columbia springers or the run on the Puyallup. Any help as far as where to go and what to use would be great. If anyone wants a fishing partner, well that would be even better!!

Sorry, couldn't resist! Most of the rivers in the area should be in prime hatchery steelhead mode around the Holidays. I fish the sky mostly at that time, but I am sure the south sound rivers should be in the thick of metal head mania at that time.
