I read on another BB that there are too many Huskies here at PP to talk Apple Cup. Silly Coogs............they're all over talking about the big Apple Cup win, before the game's been played. We could always talk about the last Coog AC win..........but I don't know if anyone can remember that far back. Bring your roses to the game again, though. There might not be any bottles to throw after the game.

Good call Dan. I think after last year's mighty bad rendition of "Cougin it", the kitties are a little gun shy. Our boys may be quitters this year, but they can still play ball. Not sure I would notch this one up yet. 6 straight has a nice ring to it plus keeping 'the Streak' of non losing seasons alive. Where's Rapid Robert at? Usually he's good for a little smack chat by now with that purdy coug boat he drives...

Thanks Dans, I was beginning to think all the Dawgs were gone after getting WAC"d, sun "Burned", and run over by a 727. GO COUGS!

I'm taking the points. When the line comes out I am hoping for 37 1/2. That should be enough! Go Dawgs!

ALL I REMEMBER WAS A TRIP TO THE ROSE BOWL You remember "trips" to the Rose Bowl. We remember "winning" the Rose Bowl. You Coogs oughta try it sometime. Look...........it's WSU's latest QB recruit at last year's AC, trying to help the Cougs pull out a win. (Somebody ought to tell him when the clock reads 0:00 in the 4th quarter, it's already over).

Elkrun, I've reconsidered. I will have fries with my burger. Try not to screw up my order this time please, nothing worse than driving away from McD's and the coug at the window messed up your order.

Hey Doug,
Please warn the coug cheerleaders that, although the turf in Husky Stadium is top notch and looks rather attractive, it will clog up their 4 stomach systems.

And thats another coug win!

Dumb dogs always running their mouths. Just hope you win the game, because that will be the only highlight of your horrible season. Keep in mind if the cougs do not win they still go to the holiday bowl. However, if the dumb dogs win they still don't get to go to a bowl game, because they had that ****ty of a season.
Congratulations Huskies

As long as the Dogs have Gilby inc. the Cougs can look forward to a long stretch of thumping the hounds.
Gilby: "We have a lack of talent, To much turmoil last summer, This is not my ideal situation " the excuses are on the table all the players have to do is go out and play to his expectation now for them to be real.
Swofford showed me the past two weeks that we are pretty solid at the Qb spot and it was the only question I had .

.....and eloquent Mike Price is selling?
Glad to see you are still around RR. Hey did you catch the drubbing your ladies took last year in the AC when they may have had a chance to play for the NC if they had simply not coug'd it? Kinda similar to this years' stage I would say.

Big-time Coog fan, huh? The name is Swogger...............and we'll be glad to thump on him like the rest of the WSU QB's. UW: 30 bowl games, 13 Rose Bowls, 7 Rose bowl wins. WSU: I can counttheir bowl games with my shoes on, 3 Rose Bowls, 1 Rose Bowl win......back in 1916. Color me impressed.

Whoops Swogger yes.
Pretty bad when fans have to recall yesterday because tomorrow looks so bleak:-)
Keep that record handy as you watch the next few seasons of Husky athletics maybe it will keep you off the hard drugs when reality sets in.
Don James was a great coach and the UW will pay for a few more years for that mess. Call it the curse of the "Dawgfather"

Word has it that Gilbertson told the Dawgs this week that when the offense leaves the field, the defense is supposed to take their turn. Doh!
Now that we have THAT straightened out, Kegel can follow Gesser's footsteps and go winless in the AC too.

"the Dawgs are a bad team this year and will be for years to come - Cougar Fans" Well ya, that's what 3 scandles can so to you in one year. I think that all around the UW athletic dept. will have a couple bad years to come. But that still dose not rule out the big AC win by the DAWGS this year, just like every other year before. Just take a look at the laws of nature. The DAWGS chase the cats, and the cats run! GO DAWGS!!!!!!!! P.S. Maybe the cougars should go play a Disney football team (cause their mascot is a mouse!!!!)

___________ Four alumni were climbing a mountain one day. Each was from a different Northwest School, and each proclaimed to be the most loyal of all fans at their alma mater. As they climbed higher, they argued as to which one of them was the most loyal of all. They continued to argue all the way up the mountain, and finally, as they reached the top, the OSU Beaver hurled himself off the mountain, shouting "This is for OSU!" as he fell to his doom. Not wanting to be out done, the UO Duck threw himself off the mountain, proclaiming "This is for U of O!". Seeing this, the Cougar walked over and shouted "This is for WAZZU!", and threw the Husky off the side of the mountain. Go Cougs!
Breaking news! This just in, NCAA investigators are checking allegations that a certain Husky fullback has been taking kickbacks from” Seedy Auto Glass”

Yup, the bandwagon coug fans are beating there drums agian. Any trash talk from a Coug is just laughable. The Dawgs have always dominated and will continue to do so, no matter what the record. Its funny that in our "rebuilding/sanction" time we can stil beat the best Cougar teams in history... BTW, how did the cougars steal the Florida Gators "jaws" theme on defense?? pretty original

I say the dawgs just go ahead and win the "best in the northwest title" as they did last year. you know beat oregon, oregon state, and the cougs, maybe someone should go find that best in the northwest shirt that paul arnold whipped out after the cougs coug'ed it last year. oh and rapid robert i only missed 2 games due to family conflicts, i sat through nevada and usc, and i'll be proud to sit though a good ole' fashion couger bashin

Gotta love how some cougs want to already look 'down the road' for the dawg's future. Their so used to using the saying "maybe next year" that the present isn't really deep in their thought process (now that is an oxymoron, coug + thought process). I would say with 9 starting seniors on your D, you better focus on this year and hope your overrated team can get it done. They say never bet against a streak, something to keep in mind. Something seems to be missing without a prostituting drunkard running one team and a cheating gambler running the other, it just doesn't have that non-wholesome flair to it. Wonder what Mike and Rick will be doing Saturday? Probably chillin at the Riverboat Casino throwin a couple down...

a prostituting drunkard running one team and a cheating gambler running the other, it just doesn't have that non-wholesome flair to it. :D Too funny! The Cougs are good this year.....no doubt. Their defensive unit is ranked at or near the top of the Pac-10 standings. But the Dawgs just seem to get up for this game. The Cougs should have shellacked UW last year.....in Pullman.........contending for the NC.......ranked #3 in the polls.........but they didn't. UW came out and played the way their fans had hoped they'd play all season. And again, the Huskies have played way below expectations and the Cougs have exceeded expectations this season. A few weeks this season, the Dawgs have played without any heart, without any desire...........something I've never seen out of a Husky team before. Getting beat is one thing, giving up is another. You're gonna get beat...........some game somewhere, you're gonna lose. But you don't give up. I'm just hoping there's a few seniors on this Husky team that realize that it's up to them to step up and own their home turf. The Cougs WILL dance on our "W" if they win.......and they should. It's time to keep purple on our "W" and send the Crimson and Gray packing to 520. Here's to a battle...........the team that wants it most, wins it and deserves it. GO HUSKIES !!

(Seattle WA) -- The Washington Husky football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. The coaching staff immediately suspended practice and called the police and federal investigators. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

Stanbeck? Option? Maybe the Dawgs turn into a Nebraska. If you've paid any attention to division 1 football you've seen how well that works in todays game. It's funny how Huskies feel sorry for the poor little Cougs when they have a bad season but the Coug fans can't stand the Huskies no matter how the Huskies fare. I hate to have to stand up for Mike Price but if you compare him to Slick Rick I'd take him on my side any day. All Mike did was turn around a struggling football team, play some golf, have a few beers and take a woman home to his hotel room. Slick Rick broke several NCAA regulations, ruined a good football program and jumped into bed with Barbara Hedges. I'll stick with Mike and the Cougs.
