Hey there,

My sis and her husband from NY are coming out and expect to be getting into some chinook. I'm thinking Kingston or Jeff Head... Last year at this time we did pretty well there.

Anyone doing well for blackmouth?

I'll post how we do on Monday.

Thanks!

I fished inside Elliott Bay today. Nothing but shakers for us.

I went to Shil Shole on Saturyday and just as I was launching the bolt connecting my big motor to the hydraulic steering broke. Rather than skipping the whole day, I motored out with my kicker to Meadow Pt and on the way back at the 1pm tide change, got one 22"er. Released numerous shakers.

Fishing was not bad today (Monday). Fished at Kingston and Jeff Head.

Got one in the boat about 25", some shakers and two very nice fish lost... one of them broke off when one real almost spooled. Got into the line way underneath that was funky and wouldn't let the fish run as it got pinched.

I don't know that I've seen a blackmouth spool anyone. It seemed very nice, but we never saw it so I can't speculate how big it was.

Was absolutely gorgeous out--killer sunrise, flat calm and sunny. Looked like most boats had a fish, although it was not nearly what last December was. All in all, it was one of the nicest winter fishing days I've had.
