I have a 17' willie, it came equipped with carlisle oars. I was wondering, after reading a few posts, and constantly getting hit with the handles, what the story was with floating tips? Mine sink like rocks.
If anyone has any advise on good oars id appreciate it. Thanks in advance and merry christmas.

Cataracts should float DIF ... not sure if you have another blade stuck in them or not??

really should be no need for a counter balanced oar either ... way slow and if you're gonna have that much weight in your hands, make them out of an iron rod so they'll be totally indestructible wink
