The tribal netting shedule for the Quillayute river system (from WDFW web site) shows that netting will take place 4.3 days a week from now till Jan 24 and then 3.5 days a week from Jan 25 to Mar. 31. I thought that the Boldt decision allowed the tribes to take 50% of the "harvestable amount of fish" which is determined by a number of organizations. The netting schedule that they have allows them to take over 50% of the entire "run" of fish as very few make it through the nets. I am hoping that some of the more knowledgeable members of the board can help clarify this issue.
