Graphite or Fiberglass oars

Which is lighter?

Which is stronger?

lead thrower, this should be just like fishing rods. Graphite is stronger and lighter and fiberglass will bend more without breaking... just my thoughts.

I have composite oars for my 10' pram and they are light.

Stop at Lavro in Monroe and talk to Ron the owner, He has samples of all the oars and will walk you through the advantaged/disadvantage of each.

I have 10' composite cataracks for my drift boat and they are lighter then my old wood 8'ers.

The composites sound very interesting I will have to do a little more research on these.
