Every year a group of friends and family come to washington to go fishing, we often hit the samish, but the crowds (and snaggers) are just getting to large. The 3 of us that live here do ok (we are used to the crowded fishing conditions) but our visiters do only so/so. This year we are talking about going to a resort or lodge, or even drag some campers somewhere. What im looking for is a good lodge where we can have a great time and everyone catch some fish...(my favorite is kings) but silvers would be ok. I know some of you have friends and family that are in the business so you can help both them and us out
wouldnt mind getting out towards westport or vancover island or somewhere along the tribs of the columbia...note I have a boat but to many people for 1 boat. so a good bank egg drifting place would be great......DJ

Rent a houseboat on Lake Roosevelt or if you don't mind the drive Shuswap lake BC. You can catchcbig Trout, Walleye, bass etc. One of the best times with with large group.

Contact Van Riper's in Sekiu. They have camping and a small motel. They rent kicker boats for a reasonable cost. Late August/early September can be spectacular fishing for coho.

If I were trying to set something up for a fairly large group, this is what I'd do.

Surgeon on the lower Columbia. You can get a great group discount at some charter companies.
