NOPE! Open through April in some rivers (CnR only in the Skagit). Some of the best fishing is still ahead of us, I am told.

I'm a rookie too, so don't feel bad. Guys on here use odd words I have yet to be able to find in any dictionary..took me a month to figure out what a "brat" was!

I've got three so far (this year, and ever), and hope to add another dozen to that total before the years end...tried tonight but only came up with a couple nice Dollies that got CnR'd after a fair battle.

I know that gas prices are a bit outrageous right now, but even in a gas-guzzling truck like mine, I can get to the Skagit/Sauk system and back from the metro area and still have a bit of change from my twentyspot.

Currently, I have absolutely zero income though. The job search is killing me.
