looks like areas 10,9,8-18-2 are closed as of today. i had to work the last three days so did not get a chance to go and elliott bay is closed on sundays. It looks like the islands will remain open but i do not know where to go up that way. can any one tell me what areas around the islands are good.

Iceburg is a good place to start. You will want to use double floats and weight your pots real
good and use extra line because the currents run strong in the Islands. You will want to set them just west of Iceburg in 260 to 290 feet
of water. Hope this helps!!

Tom, if you come to our PSA Terry Rudnick meeting on May 11th I will show you where to go in the San Juans. Bring a map and I will mark them for you. It is really easy. Your pots will need lots of weight to stay put. Mine weigh 30 lbs. A good incoming tide will push your buoys under. Miles (from the club) and I are talking about taking several boats from the club up and shrimping.
