Ok, I need some help. Taking a couple of land walking co-workers out of Armeni tomorrow for a little fishing. Where are some spots to try and get them on to a ling? Also, are there any good sports to drop a crab pot up there? I usually fish out of Redondo and points further south so I'm not very knowledgable about the Seattle area fisheries.

Anything you all can give me would be a big help. Thanks

There is a Ling spot about 200-400 yards south of Alki Point. An Artificial reef that may be somewhat fished out at this point, but there are bound to be some biters. Bring Steel leaders as it is snaggy. There may be another boat or two fishing to help locate it. Set up at whichever end is up-current of the spot and drift all the way over the reef while jigging big herring or plastics.

You could also fish roght along some of the piers downtown but dont eat anything you catch out of there.

You will find crab along the shore line from Magnolia Marina out to West Pt. and around the corner from the launch between the Duwamish Head and Alki Pt.
