Just a little udate on the current activities of the tribe. #1 Elliott Bay opens today for a full blown gill net fishery one net per boat,4 nets per fisher in the river up to tukwilla. #2 Lk Washington Sockeye open per announcement today from tribe. Their own fishery dept states there will be no sockeye fishery until at least friday July 9. Then what are they doing advertising sockeye on sale now in the stores, and what are the nets in the locks prior to friday? The Suquamish tribe have the same rights to that fishery as the muckleshoots, so if the pictures of the nets in the locks prior to friday are really a suquamish boat you can bet your left testicle that there is a muckleshoot net somewhwre close by. #3 Elliott Bay shrimp fishery open weekends till further notice/no quota. #4 White River open for gill netts,and hook and line fishing all catch Must be reported to the tribes fishery dept Oh Yea lets run down to the fishery office to document my catch to make sure they shut me down as soon as possible. #5 Vashon private property open till further notice for all shellfish. #6 Puyallup River will open per announcement from tribe friday july 9th, 4 nets per fisherman, 5inch mesh not to exceed 1/3 of the wetted waterway.

Update on the current fishing activities for the same area by sportfishers #1 Open for 1lb coho outside of the bay and must CNR any chinook One hook per angler,barbless, cant bring fish into the boat.

Oh Yea I thnk its been under construction for about 5yrs in a row, not much time to finish it when you have kings,sockeye,protected chinook.clams,shrimp,gill netting,hook and line fisheries,private property shellfish rapes,elder tribe fisheries,ceremony/subs fishing. Idea- Ask one of us when were at home watching Roland Martin (SON), and Bill Dance programs we will have the time to work on your web site. And NO we wont take protected chinook in payment.......
