Ok where in western wa should i go to find summer steel. Ive fished long and hard and have 0 bites to show for it. I dont have a boat and im not lookin for a zipper. Besides the basic knowledge of fishing, you need to have some intimate knowledge of a zipper to fish it effectively. It is not like they are loaded with fish. If they were loaded then they wouldn't be zippers.

Try NF Lewis or Cowlitz. You can move away from the crowd and catch fish. Also you can see how people are doing it and kids will have fun. They don't care about solitude.
