Hi,
I just joined this forum, hope you are all doing well.

I have fished the OP extensivley before but only a few rivers (hoh/elwah/lyre). Can anyone give me insight into drifts on the sol duc or bogachiel for the last week of september? will steelhead still be around? what flow rates are optimal for drifting?

Thanks alot!
Happy to provide any info on BC fishing!

Welcome abord, Manimal!

If you haven't drifted the Sol Duc, this September would not be a good time to start...with the rapids and boulders extra hard to navigate with the extremely low water we have this summer, I'd stick to the Bogie...though there won't be much water there, either.

Manimal, huh? Remember that TV show?

Fish on...

Todd

HIYA Manimal ... Bogey too may not have enough water to be a productive choice at the end of September. If we get some early fall rains, it certainly would be, but without them ... you'll be dragging axross a number of riffles.

There will be some steelies around here and there, although your best bet would be in the Ponds area in that timeframe, especially on the Calawah if there has been a little rain ;\)
