Hey...I was wondering if anyone knew of any place that you camp east of West of Sekiu off the beach, near the beach, maybe up the Hoko River.

I am going to hit Sekiu for a couple days next week and was wondering if there are any spots where you may throw up a couple tents, maybe have a campfire and such without having to deal with the overpriced, uncomfortable lots that are found at the resorts.

Angler's Hidaway RV Park is a good choice for Sekiu camping. It's up the hill from Olson's and has nice grassy spots. Their tent area is in a small grassy area set back in the trees. The people are nice and it's better than camping in the noisy, gravel parking lots were your neighbor is 5 feet away.

I stayed at whiskey creek. which is a little ways from sekiu but it was on the water and had some desent bottom fishing too.

Also check out Big Salmon Resort East of Seiku about half way back to Joyce. It has a low tide restriction & wouldn't be good for a deep V. It is a bit quiter than Sieku though.

Snow Creek (very close to Neah Bay) has some open grassy areas to camp which differ from the crowded cramped spaces at some of the Sekiu areas.
