I recently bought a left handed trion baitcasting reel, and the anti reverse spring (I believe thats what it was) broke after using it for 9 trips. I returned it for another one which has performed flawlessly since I got it. I was wondering if this is common at all on these reels if they are used a lot, or could that one just have been a dud?

Thanks!

I have several Trions that I have abused with peacock bass, cubera snapper, and big chinook. They have been bullet proof for me.

FNJ,

Bought mine last Feb, fished it almost daily till the end of April. Took a beating, and runs like a Deere..:-)

I'm looking for another one, now. I found some good deals on eBay, with the RH at about $65.00 and the LH about $75.00...dang it, I need LH.

Just bought a new Berkley IM7 (always fished Lami in the past).. but this rod is so lightweight, even at 8'6", and the Trion will look and perform awesome on it. Really looking forward to burying a hook into the first winter run of the year!

Mike
