The bull’s eye in Tacoma screwed up by selling the gun with out the proper paper work. So fine I can see going after them for negligence, but the gun maker? Give me a break that’s just none sense, that like suing the car makers for some one getting drunk, and not having a license to drive going out and killing some one. Its not the car makers fault this guys was a moron nor is it the Guns.
So what’s your all’s take on this? Should the maker be liable?

I agree, Woody. Holding the manufacturer responsible is BS. Like holding Budweiser responsible for drunk drivers. Although having Budswill go bankrupt wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I also agree that Bullseye should be held accountable. I thought the gun was stolen, though, and they didn't keep accurate enough records to report it missing. Did they actually sell it? Either way, it seems the incompetent record keeping was the problem.

Harly I heard both also not 1005 shure on if they sold it the lats I heard was they did. but if they would have done proper papper work and or reported it like you say it might have helped.

As is often the case in these kind of lawsuits. The defendant will opt for a settlement to avoid a long, expensive fight. This shortsighted approach does nothing more than encourage the (*%@#%%) to file even more actions against companies who are only slightly involved.
Until (*%@#%%) are able to be shot on sight, this kind of nonsense will continue to occur.
