8-10ft, camo drifter missing near high bridge. If anybody sees this boat, a quite unique looking drift boat, square bow-1 seater. Reward will be given if somebody can find it. If anybody floated high bridge down in last day, let me know anything that might help my buddy retrieve his boat. Thanks in advance and reward will be given.

Was this stolen or did it wash away? Any ideas? Sorry to hear about his boat.

That's the million-dollar question, or $2500 question (probably what the both is worth), it appears that it could have been stolen, yet could have washed away too. It was under lock and chain, and in the back-eddy portion of the river. There's really not a lot of current. The lock was attached but didn't look to be tampered with. In other words it was shut, yet still on the chain when pulled from the water.
It's a very unique looking aluminum boat , with a square bow and funny looking rod-holder that looks more like a mast than a rod holder. and will be impossible to miss. Any info would be so greatly appreciated and rewarded.

Hey! I was up on Saturday in the sled. I saw your boat! Upside down on the S side of the river, I'll describe where. Start at Wallace mouth. Go up past the finger weirs, past the rip rap wall with the deep slough at the upriver end of it, around through the big bend, over the next riffle to the next really deep and roily hole directly below a house on the S bank that seems destined to go in the river someday. Your boat is on the bar above that bend, on the south side. Its upside down.

I took the boat's owner down the river yesterday in my boat to try and find it. Went from high-bridge to Sultan and didn't see it anywhere. If it was that obvious it has obviously been salvaged. It's not really a valuable boat on the market, but is extremely valuable to it's owner. If anybody snagged it please contact the barber shop in gold bar. Any information can be given to him and or me via a personal message. Just tell him that you found Chris' drift boat. I appreciate your help and I hope that if somebody salvaged it that they can return it to the rightful owner. He's a gold bar local, a very nice guy and somebody that would bend-over-backwards to help somebody else out in need.
