Well I would like to hear Doc's response on this one, but in the mean time I would like to reminjd every one especially the na sayers on the hot chicks avatars or posts that what you're seeing is nothing more than a kid is going to see watching commericals on tv, prime time tv, adds in magazines like SI, or billboards like the black velvet one or the dom triplets, or the bud girls, or the coors light commerical with the train, or the twins football commerical. As for the clicks or club thing going on,so the **** what. Are you jealous, are you lonely that you don't have a fishing buddy or a group of dudes to kick it with. And for the whole moral, or class argument give me a figgin break. There are already to many stupid laws and rules out there in this world to have some tide wadded conservative "I have nothing better to do than to find something to ***** about and stir the pot up a bit" guy try to bring up a subject like such. I think maybe somje people are jealous they wern't invited to that snoop rod tourney or something. Just a guess but it seems that usually in life when some one trys to bring you down with comments, or negative unfounded criticisms they have a low self esteem and need to lash out at others to make them selves feel better. If you don't like the avatars of certain people turn them off. And quit *****ing, tis the season to be jolly, not bah humbug. And the by the way, Metallica, Pantera, Maiden, slayer, Tool, Deftones, and many other bands can help a dude get through some hard times. Merry Christmas all even you Doc!!!!

Got to chime in, because I can. I agree with PNP and ISO and the others. As much as I have gotten used to looking forward to the next boob avatar, it has become a contest ( a pleasant one at that), but not necessarily appropriate for a public fishing forum. I actually find myself checking to see if my wife is behind me when on this forum, and that' not what it should be about. I just don't want to have to explain the photo's.

And ISO and PNP have not posted reports, tips etc? Are you serious?

Ok, I have to weigh in here, don't know why, but I am. I thought it "no harm" when sundaymoney started with the bouncing bossoms, and mingo had personal pics that were at least fishing related as well as his own family. When sol showed up with the monster mams, well the size of the avatar made it hard to ignore and really distracts from the post, but they were covered. Now we have stlhdr1 posting, in my opinion, what amounts to psuedo-porn. Not real porn, but close enough. That crossed the line, in my opinion. The "boys will be boys" stuff is an excuse that you would not accept from your own kids, you expect them to use good judgment and know what they do reflects on them and thier entire family and community. The same is true here. The avatars you post reflect on the entire community.
Yes I can turn off the avatars, but that also stops me from seeing kevs football king, fishgals moster, parkers co-ho-ho or that sky guy now has an arima boat pic in his avatar and many other cool things. I even saved an avatar from someone of a boat on the columbia at sunrise and used it for my wall paper for some time. That would definately detract form my enjoyment of the site.
This is a community and I believe all have a right to express thier opinions. I have benefited greatly from many of your posts and hope to keep doing so, but please consider others in the community and how your actions reflect on them and their enjoyment of the site.

Just my opinion and worth just what you paid for it.

Dang Sol,I was just getting ready to put that flathead pic up.

I showed my wife this website and the first words she saw was pornography, She failed to see the word fish in front of it. Once she realized that it was fish porn, I was OK. Then she saw some avatars and the back of my head was slapped again.

As an employer, you ALL would be sh*tcanned for surfing any site other than the ones I pay you to surf.

Turn off the avatars if you don't like them, I had to turn them ON to see what all the fuss was about. Still am not sure what all the fuss is about, other than the usual 'we need rain' blues that occur every year, and then the board gets heated up, and all that . Matters not the topic when things go 'low and clear', things just heat up, this year it's the boobs. I like boobs, and if you don't, ok, but I still like them. :p

Soon, without rain, things will get even more heated, and so I suppose that 'rain cures all'.
Tuesday, things will get better.

That said, I can see valid 'points'(sorry, couldn't resist)in both sides.

I agree with fishn. My son keeps looking over my shoulder (he's 11) and a lot of this is not appropriate.
However, I also Just turned off the Avatar button (glad to know I can!)so problem solved in my house.
