Have any of u guys ever used that Maxima Crystal Ivory? Is it as good as good ol green or chameleon. Is it really pink because fish apparently cant see pink,or was it designed for limpwristers.

if you think that stuff's pink you must be color blind. it's kind of a clear-beige color.
it's not bad line really, but isn't quite as good as UG or chameleon. not very good on a spinning reel above 8lb either, as it's got a good amount of memory.

It's definitely gold or beige, and I have it on all of my baitcasters...as CM said, it's not very good on spinning rods.
Great for spoons, though...it's pretty hi-viz above the water, and pretty invisible below.
Fish on...

I like it on my baitcasters in 12 or 15 lb., its cheap & a semi-vis line above the water. Like T-rip sez good for drift-fishing main line or right to the spoon...

Ive used 20lb test on very large sturges and a whole lot of salmon . and never tried it on a spin outfit. but man when I hook bottom its a real bear to break off , it almost stopes the boat on a mild tide . great stuff and sometimes hard to find.

I asked The Company about Crystal Ivory and it has the same properties as Ultra Green, Just a different color, Put on the larger spool to compete with the larger spool lines.... I have used it since it's enception and love it, I still change the line quite often, But Bulk spool of Ivory is alot easier on the wallet... Just my .02........ Matt

Matt i wish UG was half as inexpensive as crystal ivory. 25 bucks for a 600 yard spool is rediculous.

That IS a lot chum man ... try the service spools from Cabela's. Around $60 for either 3000 or 3300 yards. Goes a long ways if you respool about 2/3 of the line at a time ... normally what I do.
I have had good luck with the CI though ... fished it off and on a little and can't say I've had any probs or noticable differences compared to UG.

Like I said, the CI is on all of my baitcasters (except float rods and plug rods), anywhere from eight pound test to twenty.
The eight pound is marginal, but the 10, 12, 15, and 20 all works great...the above water viz is good, the below water camoflauging works well, and at $10 for 1000 yards, well, it can't be beat.
I change out my line, the whole spool, about every three trips, so that's about twice a month...and I would spend the extra $$ if that's what it took to have line that I'm happy with. For once I'm glad that I'm happy using something that is also really affordable...that doesn't happen with fishing gear all that often!
Fish on...
Todd
