I find him interesting though. Kind of like watching a car wreck!

Yes, it really was.

That'd the big downside to having a computer geek as a moderator. I'm on that technical crap like stink to...er..er.well, you know what!

Oregonian,

If I felt so inclined... I too could innundate this board with pics from say... somewhere in the Great Lakes region for example. It would still just be li'l ol' me here in Lynnwood, Wa doin' it though...

Speakin' of hidden identities... do you hang much on ifish anymore?

Edit: I'll be darned Parker. For some reason, I had a feelin' it/they might have been an infamous local female guide incognito.

Thats his intent. However, the pics were cool and his writing style was hilarious... decerned... I kept wanting to edit it to the correct spelling. But Im sure most of us were a little captivated by the guys lifestyle. Kinda cool - wouldve been better with a little humbleness. The fact that he was a good outdoorsman was overshadowed by the egomaniacal attention whore.
Yeah he fishes and chainsaws better than me - but I have respect for people.

One Way,
I'm quite comfortable in my skin, thanks...

4salt,
You know I was banned from Ifish for telling a guy how to get his neighbor's annoying dog to stop barking, albeit tongue in cheek; the over zealous moderators on that site pulled my plug. I haven't lost too much sleep over Ifish... Are you a moderator over there, or just happen to remember little ol' me after all this time ?

Someone asked earlier what some of the criteria is for getting booted off of this board?

Personal attacks.

You want to jump someone's crap? Take it off line. Better yet, man up and meet face to face to discuss your "issues".

Another good one is to keep pushing the moderators buttons.

You ALL have been warned today. My button is close to being pushed now.

Getting banned from iFish isn't something hard to do. I was almost banned for posting a link to EZ-pull anchors. I actually did get banned from "Brand X" for ragging on snaggers and tweakers too much. I guess I hit too close to home for the Admins there.

If you try hard enough, like BS did, you're sure to be banned from here. Now it looks like Oregonian is trying to take up the reigns and say insulting stuff. Every board that I've ever visited get's its occasional Troll and when they get their inevitable banishment, there's always one or two whiners who bitch about them being banned. Seems to me they are Wanna-be Trolls that don't have the mental capacity to actually pull it off themselves.

_EDITED by Irie_

VHawk's a swell guy. I'd rather stare at fishing line with him than catch record Steelhead with that gay hillbilly that just got banned again.

Figured someone would toss that accusation out. I'm not hog daddy, nor did I stay at Holiday Inn last night.

I caught a steelhead once, though....

I think there is a BIG difference between good ol' fashioned bantering between dudes and joking around versus consistent arrogance in the form of trying to always one up someone or be the king of all subjects and attacking anyone that questions or disagrees with him.

My gang I hang with on the island is full of distinct characters and we are always teasing and bantering each other on everything. But it is truelly fun, not annoying. However, one of my buddies has a brother who comes around now and then, he always starts out having a good time and he is very funny, then someone says just the wrong thing to him and he starts having a fit, getting mad, trying to one up his brother, and often a takes off pissed off and won't speak to us for weeks. There has even been a few fist fights with him. Ridiculous, this seems to be the same type of personality. Although I really don't know since I've never met Big Stick, or should I say Hog Daddy. Maybe it's just his online persona. He did however seem to know what he was doing in the outdoors and a lot of us would like to be where he is at living in Alaska and taking part in that the great outdoors up there on an everyday basis. But, egos can get the best of a lot of people, or being socially handicapped. So good riddens. Too Bad. Could have been cool having reports from up there.

I never said anything about VHawk....

You're the second member of this board to toss off a homo comment in the last couple minutes though.
