Herkules are plenty good enough for the part time fishing you do, they are tough enough that you can deslime them down at the carwash.

I bought the brigg coat with cuffs and hood after hearing about Sky-Guy's water cannon. The hood is a pain but does work well.
Parker I was wearing it on the hali trip this year.

HERKS all the way! I still have and wear mine from 95' when I first started commercial fishing in Alaska. Still going strong. No rips or tears. Lots of good years to come! Might as well buy some XTRA tuff rubber boots. Can't go wrong!!!

You do have to get the extra tuff boats. Got my stuff at that Fisheries place down at Fishermans Terminal.

Just get a Hefty garbage bag and cut out the corners for your arms. You're use to getting your arms wet changing all those diapers and puking on yourself.

I think I'm gonna do with green Herkules 16 Bib Pants and *maybe* the Brigg 41 Jacket.

I do like the jacket that stam wears, but no one seems to know which one that is....and I don't see it on the Grunden's web page.

Might end up getting the Brigg 41 Jacket...but I've already got 2 nice Gortex jackets.

I gotta get my arse over to Seattle Fisherman's Marine and get all touchy feely with the products.

I understand that "my source" won't be back in town until July, so I have some time...unless I'm told otherwise. \:\)

I did. They told me to go away and to just steal a used plastic bag from the homeless bag lady and to cut holes out of it for my arms and head.

Screw you guys. I'm just gonna go topless from now on. If Doc can do it, so can I!

Check out my new rain gear!

I buy the brightest color possible so if I fall in the water and drown, the coasties can find my carcass and my wife can collect my life insurance faster. I owe her that much for putting up with my crap for 35 years.

I like the Grunden's medium duty rain jacket and bibs, think its a little heavier then what Stam is wearing, a couple guys I work with have the same jacket as Stam and they both complain about leaky seams, I've never had that problem with mine, the medium stuff is a little nicer also on those 45-50 degree morning when its raining sideways, something I see alot of in S.E. Ak.

As for the Xtra-tuffs, suprisingly, the best price I've found locally was at Teds, saved $15 over the place across the street from them.

Things are good. No riots at Viking Fest and there was plenty of lutefisk to go around. I was hoping for a lutefisk omelette at Friday breakfast but no go.
