If that is Vhawk in the first photo, I have a question. The pic appears to be him driving on plane (running speed). But in the lower right corner his kicker motor is trimmed all the way down. Im not sure, but where I come from, you dont run at speed with the kicker down. That would be a ROOKIE move The look on his face seems to suggest "why is this boat running like *#@* ". Sorry Vhawk, couldnt pass the chance to flick you a little crap.

Flip it to Dumbluck. The bracket is broke that sets the trim on his kicker. I wouldn't flip him crap myself, because he let me borrow the boat, his truck, and just because it wasn't enough he dropped in a case of home brew. I have very generous friends. Oh and he saved my ass a couple weeks earlier when I went into shock. He was my ER doc. Now that I think about it, your not gonna give him crap either. It better to keep people like that on your good side.

I'll take the heat for scheduling. I was thinking like an angler and not a softcore porn producer. I was most concerned with getting pics of the girls catching fish. Even if they hadn't canceled the pics would have looked like eskimo porn.

I'll figure out something to make up for this. It'll probably involve me spending money though. And if there is another try at this, I'll do few things different. I'll bring the girls, hire the guides, schedule for late July, and keep it a secret until afterwards.

Big payoffs usually involve bigger risks. I ate it on this one. I'll learn from it, and give it another shot.

I got plenty of laughs out of the deal. Merg learned a few lessons. One important one was humility, and another lesson was that after all the smack talk and boasting, he was powerless over the girls and their decision to bail on his plans. In other word, in the future don't count your chickens ( or talk smack), before the eggs hatch.

The Merg moved up a notch on the respect meter for me. (Vince is already top notch as a definite producer.) 'Troid showed on a nearly complete bust of an "adventure". Gotta give him his due. Kid can obviously take the heat.

Two thumbs up? Nah, but I'll give it a one-and-a-half thumbs for following through.

Heh...........sh!t happens. At least the guys tried to pull something off. I bet I'd get along pretty damn great with The Merg if I meet him..............he reminds me of meself when I was a wee lad, slinging that alleged 24" kielbasa around all day creates a bit of a boast tendency........and there is nothing wrong with that at his age.

Ive also had it bomb out before. i just have never tried it with fishing. thats alright. i will take the blame. the hype was correct, we had a lot that were supposed to show. thats all the power i have. to get them to say yes. I dont get how VINCE gets any "blame" if there is blame. Thats alright he seems to blame "me" also so i guess it shouldnt make any difference that you guys do too

it wasnt a huge disappointment, if any of you have ever down promotion thats just the way it is. Sometimes it happens , sometimes it doesnt.

Incidentally i think i will try this again, its a good solid idea, i think it just needs a few changes. Looks like i am on my own since i seem to have been excommunicated from vince, for trying. When i used to promote its enevitable to spend money to get them there. So it looks like i will have to. I am going to set it up for some better weather for sure. i definetly want to try something along these lines though.
