I said it may be flawed but the idea is a good one. I absolutely hate the spin that's being placed on it though. Lot's of mights and maybes. Or "I was told". Reading it....on the surface....it looks good but I am not a lawyer. I can see the VA or any agency being against having to do extra work though.

The law may require cleaning up, but anyone who relies on the GOA to tell them what's wrong with it may as well rely on GW to tell us how the war in Iraq is going...a little too agenda driven to have any credibility outside the dingbat community whatsoever.

Todd, I just used the GOA as a reference. I learned nothing from them that I had not already heard from DAV representatives who had studied the bill themselves.
Hard to stomach the GOA might actually be right on their thinking?

Yeah, but think how much safer the world would be if only happy people had guns?

If it does end up affecting veterans I guess a case could be made that "you were trained to kill and are now mentally unstable and would be way to efficient at killing a whole lot of people instead of onesy twosy rookies." I jest. Besides, the urine thread, maybe employers should have access to mental health records so they don't put themselves at risk?

People supporting this bill should go move to canada... With their gun control laws, I hear they have a near zero crime rate in their cities Or not...

Face it - we have no real control over our "elected" officials. If they legislate something, we're stuck with it. Trying to enforce it is another matter.
Someone resurrected Big Stick on another thread today - I really don't see anyone getting guns away from that guy! Then again, maybe he's the perfect example of why some folks shouldn't have guns.

He never posted dead people pictures, just fish and game. I think that's still legal, isn't it? Those pictures are in his "personal" collection
