We ended up lucking into a couple June 1st drifting the Sky. Chris was upset wih the way his fought so he didn't want to be involved with the picture. There was very light traffic I think due to the gas prices and the poor fishing on the last few openers. The last time I fished an opener with this much flow was around 2002(guessing the year) and the river was absolutely crowded, may aslo had to do with the fact that may have been the first year in awhile it was open to Chinook.

Did you guys float from High Bridge?

Yeah, we floated from high bridge and we saw one more fish taken up high and no other good reports. I was due for a lucky day.

Tacoma was slow, probably due to extreme tides, launched at browns point at 6 AM and fished til 2PM. did see the big whale though, saw a half dozen fish landed and a few native releases,
We missed one and released a native.
The new 115 E-TEC motor ran great and is quiet, seems faster then the 135 Merc I replaced.

I haven't posted yet, but I think I have found some time to.

There has not been that many boats on the Sky, I guess the high water has been scaring folks off. Cracker bar on the other hand has been packed, 8- 14 people every day!
