wow good thing you asked this!

Last night I cooked 1 lb of fresh halibut...I mixed up a tablespoon of honey, half of a large lemon (juiced) some zest from it as well, whisked in some extra virgin olive oil, put in some fresh garlic and peper and salt....

Poured it over the skinless fillet and let sit for ten minutes then grilled for around 15 until done...

when it was done I put some fresh dill on top of it and it was tasty!!!!

cooked up some brocoli as well...

There is a fancy salad dressing that comes in triangular bottles. One of their flavors is wasabi vinegrette. I soaked fillets in there for about an hour before grilling. It was great.

Grind up some macadamia nuts till it's like breading. Cut halibut fillets into 2" squares and bread with the ground nuts. Fill a caserole dish with the breaded pieces then sprinkle broken mac nuts over the top and broil until done with a slightly burnt top. Serve with fresh cut lime and cilantro. Coconut rice and curry on the side.

1 clove garlic, minced ...about 1/4 cup
6 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

2 (6 ounce) fillets halibut

In a stainless steel or glass bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley.
Place the halibut filets in a ziploc plastic bag, and pour the marinade over the fish. Cover or seal and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour minimum, turning occasionally.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. Set grate 4 inches from the heat.
Remove halibut filets from marinade and drain off the excess. Grill filets 5 minutes per side or until fish is done when easily flaked with a fork.

I know a few here who can attest to how good this recipe is!

Smear it with pesto. Bake or grill.
