As far as the implosion goes, from I gather it was a dirty little secret in Washington for years, and that many folks saw it coming...but were battered down by FM/FM lobbyists who threatened to pull their campaign funding and run other candidates against them who would take the money and shut up.

None of that is a shot at you. TV in general is not a good thing and Fox News actively practices deception in their broadcasts. There is a wonderful documentary called "Outfoxed" that lays them bare. It is amazing that they are allowed to call themselves "news".
