Jonas, after wrapping up the pinners with paper, give them a double wrap with plastic wrap. This will provide double duty...first, it will keep the pinner payload dry, and second it will provide a secondary "burned plastic" buzz...kind of like drinking paint thinner or after shave.

Teams, we have to figure out a way to slow team PP down. Methinks that with Parker's pent up aggression due to lack of recent fishing time, and a history of previously humiliating SRC performance, he will probably be holding a hot rod. Bob (the myth the man the legend) needs no intro, and is of course a living legend who knows every fish holding nook, cranny, and pocket with his eyes closed. Sparkey's SRC history speaks for itself. It has been said that the best offense is a good defense! Just some food for thought.

On a separate note, it seems like with the number of beer aficionados in the crowd, some more voluminous offerings might be appropriate. Would anybody be interested in getting in on a pony keg of Boundary Bay brew for the Thursday night affair? Would be happy to transport from Bham on the way. Todd, IPA?

As for the BB, this is all part of the strategy. Of course we would not be partaking, and would offer the IPA liberally to the competition. Anyone who has suffered from a BB hangover (let alone dozens) would understand the strategic move.

Speaking of which, was at the Ale House the other night playing with a new iPhone App called Last Call.

Basically, you tell the app what, how much, and when you had to drink and it calculates a running BAC for the evening.

I was consuming some IPA's that I *thought * were around 5%. Wrong. They were at 9.5%.

That explains why I couldn't feel me teeth after the 4th pint. The App was telling me I was only at a .06 BAC.

I redid the simulation the next day (Apple Cup) and found out that true value was more like a BAC of 1.4.

D'oh.

I for one, vote a YES on the keg of BB.

Kegs are good, Hangovers are not.

Uhhh... I beg to differ there Bob... REIGNING CHAMPS Team Sky Valley has entered fish in EVERY SRC they've participated in... and NONE of them have been old boot summer runs!

Hell... we've only been in three so far... and we've WON TWO OF THEM!

Ohhh... AND we usually ONLY fish the Bogie once a year during the SRC... so we have absolutely NO advanced knowledge of where the fish are holding... unlike those folks that fish it every day!

Bottom line: I like our chances!

So it sounds like at least a vote or two for the BB. Next question IPA or Blonde? I would include Scotch in the options, but, well, it is a long story that involves a lot of time on the toilet with various ends pointing at the water.

Our strategy is as follows. Blow downriver and lowhole the fleet, then sit back and wait while we lob fruits and vegetables via a high powered propane fuled 'Tater Cannon at the fooltilla. Wash and repeat.
