I know the QIN netting schedule for the mouth of the Chehalis & they supposedly took out their nets at noon on Friday 2/6/09. Based on that from where I fish, I should have touched a fish by as early as Sunday AM but no later than Tuesday by dark. Have't touched crap. So whats in their way? I am thinking Chehalis Tribe nets around Oakville-Rochester. Does any one know the Chehalis Tribe netting schedule? Or is it as I suspect, 24/7 ................

the best part of the tribal netting schedule is the timing involved. QIN nets five days a week and pulls the nets for the weekend. Thats two days for passage to the tribs. My guess and calculation for fish to get to the Chehalis rez is a day or two probley three. Bam!!!! they run right into two days worth of nets in Oakille/Rochester. My calculation says that upriver/Skook/Nuewalkum(sp)/South Fork wild fish have no way to get to their spawning beds. without hitting a well timed gillnet.

Fishing above the rez has gone way down hill the last 10-15 years. It still has its moments but not nearly the steady amount of fish we used to see.

Madmax, I do not think the new Quinault schedule has been posted. According to e-mail in another thread, they are in 3 days a week now. Someone correct that if it is wrong.
