I created a monster. This thing is still alive. I think you've provided a worthy service...a clearinghouse where we can all tell the horror stories of guns that have literally been grabbed right out of our hands...though, it seems that it hasn't happened to anyone, anywhere, yet. Marsha, by your reasoning the dude on the back of the Humvee with the 50mm cannon should be able to take it home and use it to kill beer cans in his back yard...after all, he is a citizen. Same goes for the guys who fly gunships...because, of course, they're citizens, too. Fish on... Todd

As if that doesn't imply individual citizens back in those days... I know, let's pretend each state had a national guard in the 1700's and that's what the "framers" meant!  Since you were a rag-a-muffin little colony back then, the only way your secessionist leaders could raise an army was by calling on any man that owned a musket. Essentially, each state raised a militia, which then shot at us from behind trees instead of facing us and being slaughtered like real men. Today, you shoot each other at convenience stores and in your homes because "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." It is obvious the fallacy of your thinking lies in believing your government will call on you to bring your weapons to defend the state, instead of using the professional army paid for by your taxes.

Since I saw the fear-mongering on the hunting board, thought I'd bring this one back up...
How's that gun grabbing treating you guys?
Let's all prepare the I'm sure loonngg list of guns that Obama has come to your house and taken right out of your hands...grabbed 'em, even.
Something tells me that in spite of the fear and whining, not one single gun has been grabbed from one single one of you.
