I don't want anyone's guns being grabbed by anyone, whether they be mine or Andy's...and just as much I don't like seeing the constant whining and crying by the gun nuts that someone's after their guns, especially when they clearly are not...
The fear mongering is the most detrimental part of the whole story...and it is always coming from the same group of folks, the ones who think we're going to become socialists, that Obama is a Muslim, and that Saddam Hussein actually had WMD's...idiots, all of them.
The NRA preys on those folks, and if it wasn't for fear the NRA wouldn't have anything to sell at all.
At least it's good for the economy that all the fear mongers and whiners are running out to stock up on guns and ammo for the forthcoming gun grab fantasy.

Like it or not, there are some, including Obama that would LOVE to take guns away from law abiding citizens.

I'm not exactly sure what "claims" I made? I guess I could find 3 from my last post:
1. (Most) people don't seem to value your opinions. 2. Increased gun/ammo sales is related to fear that the ability to make those purchases will fail to be an option. 3. Stocking up is not being done because "liberals" are talking about it.

They knew this would happen from experiences gained during the Clinton years. So why would they do it again? The answer comes from thinking globaly.
As I suspected; Obama is really no different than any other politician that has lead this country. First clue was the increased troop level effort in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Hmmmmmm were already stretched pretty thin around the world.
Our economy is in the toilet.
World opinion of the US is low.
Taking these three things into consideration; it seems we could be seen as vulnerable. How do you send a message loud and clear to those who might use this vulnerability against us?
Easy! Threaten gun legislation and the public will arm themselves to the f@$#ing teeth. We would have the best insurgancy the world has ever seen. You know 2nd amendment, militias and what not.
