Garmin eTrex GPS, no box/papers. Manual can be printed off Garmins website. A couple scratches in the rubber grip stuff around the side, only mark on the screen is visible in the picture (very minor). $55 shipped


Strike Indicators. Poly yarn, NO floatant added, you'll need to Gink'em before you fish'em (and you can trim them down smaller if you desire). Never fished... $15 shipped


Summer steelhead jigs. All tied on Owner and Gami hooks, 1/0, brass and nickle plated brass bead heads (~1/8 oz). Blends of schlappen hackle, and crosscut rabbit fur. Group pic isn't great, I'll guarantee satisfaction, or you can send'em back. $25 shipped.

It was 73 degrees when I left the Slope and was 82 when I hopped in my crummy at the floatplane dock by the Ferry terminal this evening. Had great visibility out of the Beaver and the residual snow up high,is amazingly next to nothing.

This heat will curtail my earnest Booner Pursuits,mainly because of meat spoilage concerns and a distant second,my little to no love for velvet. Sooooo September will likely be hardcore Alpine havoc.

I'm off Sept. 1-15. Suit yourself and I suggest you travel light,as I have 10 of most everything. Leave the jigs at home(under the guise of absent-mindedness) and you open the door to Winter Steelheading.

Dang, the more you guys talk about killing stuff, and the more I look through Stick's picture collection....I think I don't want to risk shipping these, and better hand deliver instead.

There's (3) key ingredients to an Alaskan Foray and they are timing,timing and timing...in no particular order.(grin)

One is always at the mercy of the weather,because no amount of planning or fortitude can overcome zero visibility or a Hurricane. All of which is plausible,at any time,which adds to the satisfactions of a couple things going right.

Corks are a good call.(hint)
