I had a dream last night that I hooked a Humboldt Squid in Seattle while fishing for little Pacific Squid, but that a sea lion that was white and about as big as a killer whale grabbed it...I knocked the sea lion in the head with an axe and got my squid back.

It was just a dream ... but the sea lion did seem pissed, and it broke the handle on my axe, which sucks. I just checked my axes in the garage, and didn't see any broken ones

The ukulele was her idea...I thought it was about time for me to learn the piano, but since we don't have one or anywhere to put one, she came up with the uke...she won't break it, she bought it
I've already spent more on a tuner and some instructional DVD's than the damn thing cost...
Guns in fridge, bacon in gun cabinet...that'll confuse the hell out of 'em.

That's the one...it's by a cello group called Apocalyptica...they have quite a few, actually.
Hank, no thumb piano...harmonica? Yes. Trumpet, trombone, french horn, tuba, baritone...yes...poor drummer, and an even worse bass player, but I've done those, too.
Ukulele is my first stringed instrument that I actually intend to get good at...I never had any instruction or tried to actually learn the bass, just plucked along with a band for a bit and only knew about four notes...the band sucked, too, so that's probably more than they needed.
Fill in drummer in a jazz band...band didn't suck, I did at the drums, though...was much better as the trumpet player, by far my best instrument so far.
I'm still holding high hopes for the piano some day...no rock band should ever be without a piano.
