Fine so far...I'm not embarrassed by our President, and frankly that's a pretty big step up from the last eight years...
When you figure out the difference between satire and making fun of simpletons...that and actually believing the things that show up in your mailbox from the whackos, then get back to me on the post count.
Fish on...

26 "assistants" seems a bit much. Just because Laura Bush had the same amount that makes it ok and not worth questioning?

Kevin, we don't want to use common sense when it comes to spending money. Whether it's an individual or the government. Nobody on the left even responded to this topic other than one person saying that Laura Bush did the same thing.
If you or I was upside down financially we'd eat Ramen noodles and disconnect our TV package. Maybe even work a second job to make ends meet. Not these days. Keep catering to the masses and they'll just expect more and more of the same in the future. That's how you build a voter base. Bush did it when it came to the immigration policy. BO is doing it with hand outs. It would be nice to see those on the bottom of the upside down pyramid lead by example.

I was HOPING to see some CHANGE from this administration. That's why I voted for him. But, it seems nothing has CHANGED. It is within our right to question such things......? Since my view is different than yours I should just shut up, right? Irie, unlike you I don't vote based on a (D/R) behind their name. Pretty pathetic that some people view the world thru such a tiny window. It does make voting easier for you since you don't have to pay attention to anything other than their party affiliation. The Nutty Right would love to see Michelle Obama setting out a clothesline on the White House lawn, maybe with her hair tied in rags like Buckweat That statement only reflects your view because I don't see where anybody else has said something so stupid.

Irie,
If you will tell us all how awesome of a job the new pres is doing for our nation, maybe you could get a little support. BO is not doing such a great job. These are tough times and I think everyone out there has cut some sort of things out of their life that are not a must have. It seems pretty clear that..............No, it is 100% clear that any person who needs 26 servants is either lazy, has too much money, or is spending money that is not theirs, or just doesn't give $hit.
Lead by example is how everyone of you were taught. Hypocracy has taken over.
Things will start changing when the government health care plan is voted in!
Never said he was. Matter of fact, I said on this very board, BEFORE the primary, that BO was very conservative and not all that different from The GOP in his beliefs. Said that all the way back in 2007: http://www.piscatorialpursuits.com/forum...html#Post403710Might explain why things are exactly as they were under The Bush Cleptocracy only this time the money's going to banks instead of oil companies.

Why do you keep changing the subject? Listen bumblewit, you have a memory somewat like a sieve. Scroll up to your post that precedes the one I'm quoting and read it once more. Is it topical and germane to the thread title? No. You changing the subject again, jackass. We aren't talking about his post, we're talking about yours.

Catch phrases like "Government isn't the answer, it's the problem" are mostly devoid of any critical thought...just talking points to be parroted.
Where would you be now without your government?
Fish on...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20091102/bs_nm/us_cit_6The bankruptcy is also a blow for the U.S. government, which invested $2.33 billion in CIT in December through the Troubled Asset Relief Program and will likely lose most of it. Taxpayers will receive money only after bank debt and bond investors are repaid. The bankruptcy would translate to the first realized loss for the government from TARP, although it may recover some funds over time.

KK everytime you bring up valid points, facts, and logic, Hank thinks up some new strand of bullschit to ramble about. It's gotten to the point where every 2nd post has become a change in subject. EXAMPLE: Republicans don't like prosecution of white collar crime, so no surprise you're once again,as a member of the party of no, finding some truly pathetic line that will resonate with the teabaggers and the other 9 % of the population that self indetify as Republican. Hank's dumfuk copout spelling nazi Response: You're in such a state of apoplexy that misspellings, punctuation and grammar errors are permeating your post...
By the way I hear Pelosi sucks the blood out of aborted 3rd trimester fetuses. Yuk Yuk Yuk!

You're a douchebag and a complete failure.
Maybe that's why you're old, lonely & single and your children won't contact you.

Corzine got a criminal record ? Got any direct and promary source proof he was convicted ? Or indicted ?
No, but it's just a matter of time before he is convicted: http://northshoreexponent.wordpress.com/...the-final-days/"A one time Democrat ally to to Jon Corzine, Joseph Ferriero who was the former Chairman of the Bergen County Democratic Organization was found guilty of conspiracy and mail fraud charges on Thursday. The hook to Corzine is that During Ferriero’s tenure as chairman Corzine donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the local party in Bergen County. In the last debate on Thursday, both Chris Daggett and Chris Christie put Corzine in a corner trying to explain his connection to the former party boss and his donations to the Bergen County party organization. This also adds on to Corzine’s extra baggage when earlier in the week when the Christie Campaign called on Jon Corzine to be up front on donations from his family foundation. When Corzine released who he has donated to, the reports found that Corzine’s foundation gave $3 million dollars in donations for 2009. This included a donation of $87,000 to Rev. Jesse Jackson after the Chairman of Rainbow Push endorsed Corzine. " Dizz

Many analysts predict gross domestic product will expand at a rate closer to 2.5 to 3 percent in the current quarter and 2.5 percent or less for the year.
