It is nice too here that the deputy is actually following up and working the case. This is not always, dare say, rarely the case. That sucks jerry.I am glad you and your wife are all right.
This is another case where my mentality has gone vigilante.I hope this guy never sees a judge but meets a home owners wrath.Judges are not doing anything to stop these guys.A lot of these guys are desperate drug addicts That are used to the system. It is a way of life to them. They need to be thinking that they is a good chance that they will die robbing people.I know a judge that includes such speech in his sentencing. It should happen more often but won't.

Damn, Jerry! That clown had a ready-made witness to testify against any confrontation his/her partner faced. Glad it all turned out OK.

Glad everything is Ok with your home.
The same thing happened to my mom this summer in Tacoma. A guy rang the doorbell at her house. She looked out the window and didn't recognize the guy so she didn't answer the door. He saw her and asked her through the window if she need any yard work done? There wasn't any type of yard service vehicle she could see. She said no thanks and he walked off. As he was walking off, she noticed two other guys joining him who had been standing in her side yard out of sight. She called the police to report it, but never saw any patrol cars drive by. Sure enough, the house two doors down was broken into. I'm sure glad she didn't open the door.

Better have Dogfish show up and dig a man-sized hole for you out in the front yard.
Put a cross in the dirt pile with a sign that states:
"Robbers Will Go Here" with an arrow pointing in the hole.

I like that... Wonder how my neighbors would like that display?? But add to the sign "If your dog does his business in my yard one more time you and the dog will go here"... Keith

I am glad your wife is safe. hopefully they caught the clown.
It can get worse than armed robbery!
About 3 years ago a guy in my neighboring town was beaten to death with his own hockey stick and his son had his throat slit and left for dead, fortunately he live.
As it turned out it was a teenage methhead that knocked on the wrong door. When the guy answered the treaker freaked out and attacked instead of simply saying "opps, wrong house". Apparently a viciuos battle insued leaving the guys dead on his own floor. The crankster did not want any witnesses so he decided to slit the throat of a 5 year old boy. I wish i could have 1 minute with that piece of $hit alone....I would straight up mideaval.
Scary world we live in..........................

+ 174 on the hole and the sign. Parker, Love the Obama Chia..... I see you got the serious one and "HOPE" to see different avatars as the Chias "Change". There's a Pelosi chia out, every time you water it her eyeballs bug out more and more and the chia part is on her muff. A very big, overgrown muff that requires a weedwhacker trim after a week. Jerry, that is truly terrifying. I agree, if a high likelihood of dying was part of the equation, word would spread like crazy among the scum. But getting a slap on the wrist only encourages this type of behavior. Scumbag SOBs......glad your wife is okay.
